An Introduction to the Mennonite Heritage Archives

Bernhard Schellenberg was the first archivist (1933-1941) of the Mennonite Heritage Archives. MHC 626 - 001.
In 1950, the Archive was located in the basement of 515 Wellington Crescent, a former private home that also housed Canadian Mennonite Bible School. While much was saved, some material was lost. MHC 632 - 020.
The construction of the current archive was started in 1978, with a generous donation from P. W. Enns of Winkler, Manitoba. MHC 489 - 823.
