Arrival on the East Reserve (p. 166)
The first Kleinegemeinde group arrived at the confluence of
the Rat and the
J. Y. Shantz from Kitchener, Ontario, had built four sheds,
about seven metres by thirty metres in size, at the northwest corner of section
seventeen (Township 7, Range 4 East). The immigrants stayed in these sheds
until they had decided where they wanted to locate their villages.
