This
map shows the location of the remains of the notorious Nestor
Makhno 1889 - 1934. Makhno terrorized the Mennonite settlements in the
southern
part of Russia from
1917 to 1920. Later he
escaped to France and
died in Paris on July
25, 1934. His
body was cremated and his ashes interred in case number 6685
in the columbarium in the Pere Lachaise Cemetery.
